My first post after 4 months :P hehehe..waaa it has been a while..I spend most of my time on Facebook to keep in touch with my friends and family but I realised that I keep on ignoring my blog site and thus I feel so lazy to update any latest news bout myself and the activities that happened during the past 4 months

But the most important and special thing was that..I have found someone that have unlock my heart..I never expect to have a serious relationship 'til she came in my life :)

12th January 2010 marked the historical date in my life- officially appointed as the government servant...I felt very sad to leave my colleagues at the SMLK..it was a very wonderful time to be part of that school New chapter of my life..Teaching at my hometown KB- SM PJN Pg Haji Abu Bakar. At the moment I'm staying at my relative's place at Mumong. Every Weekend i will return back to my place at Rimba I just cant wait for my first salary! *panjang dah shopping list ku...!*

It was a great moment besungkai d i I-Lotus for the first time...it was my first time tu mencuba d sana with izzul, fahzan and malai..hehe kesian malai dmam time atu...so kami convoi satu kereta k e sana dlm kul 6pm la..

Alhamdulillah, after almost a month baru th ku ada masa kn blogging..payah bah busy..too many works...too many markings to do...sigh..

Yeay fasting month! aku lapar.... :S if before ane ok ku...but since dah naik berat bdn ane...bekeroncong saja perut ku hehehe...but Alhamdulillah so far so good

Lately kan tiap2 mlm hang out..trus sahur d liuar...Yesterday,had sungkai with Azhan and Jek at the Food-court Gadong properties...i had Dim Sum (shark fin) and Roasted Chicken Rice....*burp*

Since the first day of puasa dah ku batuk2..til now! i just hope cepat sembuh laa..

Work? Teaching?....ok la...students pun faham musim puasa ane..udah ku warning jgn buat ku marah time puasa..lau nda ku umban pakai kerusi!!! hahaha *overr* just kidding...ku tgur la bsai2..sama2 hormat musim puasa ane...and lepas puasa jua!!!

On last Wednesday, i got a call from Jabatan skulah2..fikir sapa tepon atu..salah number kali haha..so she asked me to come to the department on the next day for briefing...*yeay!*

So Thursday masa briefing...in my mind only ONE..jgn aku d post k TEMBURONG!!! hahahha...so masa kna gtau each one of us d mana kna tmpat kan...skali my turn *bunyi drum*....!!!

On Saturday 18th July..i met the principal..he is very nice and approachable..hopefuly ku dpt permanent d sana hehehe *cana kn ngampu??* haha

The journey of the 5 of us started from 12 noon..we stopped by at Tutong Mall where we had our lunch at the Joilbee..Then we resumed our journy straight to KB town.we took pics...pastu we stopped by at Lisa's old skul (SMSA).

Then we arrived at Seria town around 5 before we landed at Anduki..wat a very nice lake park..it was the place when i was a scout n we had camping (Jamboree) for 8days n 7nites..hmm dat was almost 8 years ago..
Then we reached Lmut beach at 6 pm...It was a very fun moment..Ronda2 Brunei wit frens...

Hello guys =) hehe lama dah nda update my blog..and now i got the chance to blog..yesterday (16th May) UBD exam rsult was released and Alhamdulillah i passed *yeay!*

For the moment..i'm waiting for the result of my Relief-teacher interview...and then of coz looking forward for my graduation day! nda sangka..skajap saja rasa nya 4 tahun atu..feel just likeystrday ku baru masuk UBD hehe..Alhamdulilah

now busy with my tuition classes..kan enjot to the MAX my holiday...hmmm nada idea lagi hehe..nanti lagi update... =)

it was my second trip to tasek merimbun..the first was back in year 2000 (form 3) with my SOASC classmates..it took almost 1 hour to reach that place from UBD..the weather was fine..suddenly around 1pm hujan labat! woo nasib jua ada tmpat btaduh..

actually before we left kami kn cuba cruising around the lake..tapi air nya sudah low tide..but evvryone was having fun yeay! =)

Sunday, 26th April-

I woke up early in the morning around 6...maybe because i get use to it already since TP...hmmm maybe i've accidentally taken a drug and that's why i was so energetic that morning hahaha just kidding..so i did a cleaning campaign - my room, mr car and the dining room....dalam kul 1 ptg siap laa smua....

Wats interesting about dat day is dat...i realized that, i rely like to keep plastic bag yg fancy2 lpas shopping..as the result- i managed to reduce 25% of the total utility of my closet hahaha...gila atu banyak....plus...ada la letters, coupons, other stuffs yg dari org 'lama' yg ku nda sdar masih simpan...so i threw them up...Hahaha bangga la sal bersih and more spacious dah my room this time....

I also realised i have a bit of 'the monk' attitude i.e. i want all to be organized and look 'perfect'!! for example..my bro yg sorang ane suka bejurit...pfffttt!! paling ku pantang!! so i gather all his stuffs and put in a very nice box so it looked better...*smua 'sampah' nya ku buang...yg bagi sakit mata meliat*...sorry

So...about my car...sigh last skali ku vacuum keta ku was few months ago...gila bnyak 'harta' dlm bonet atu!! hahaha..so i cleaned up bonet keta ku...buang smua antik2 dlm nya...For the record- i never stop by tempat dumping area kn buang smpah (slalu nya my dad yg buat) for the first time ku 'singgah' and buang be-kotak2 and plastik2 harta karun ke sana hahaha..PUNYA nya BAUU!!! (yatah ku nda suka singgah tu)

Ptg atu..i thot kan nap tah ne..coz i thought after the extreme cleaning campaign surely i would feel exhausted...SKALI nya...langsung nda ku mau rehat ane...nyambung la ku meliat DVD ceta National Treasure 2....

Mlm nya ngajar tuition til 9...lpas atu cont jalan wit one of my JAI HO dude k RED CANOPY...smpai kul 12 waaa pkerja nya waited for us kan balik hahaha..nda puas ati! so kami ke Restoran Liyana d Mata2 lagi lepak sambil surfing smpai kul3 pagi....

Gila...aku lagi TP pagi atu...so rest 3 jam sja...

Last friday (17th April) i received a text from my supervisor from UBD who told me that she would observe me on the next day (saturday 18th)...Friday is always be a very busy day for me...in the morning i will have my tuition class from 9 a.m. til 11.00 a.m.

Then, as usual i wil have my Friday prayer at UBD mosque...after quick lunch sambung tution again at 2 p.m. til 4 p.m...."bila tah ku kn start my preparation utk kena observe esuk ne??" i thought to myself...so i had a rest jap...In the evening at 7 til 930 p.m. ngajar tution lagi at FC qlap...and then my JAI HO dudes text me "yooo come and join us at Gadong..pakai selipar! chill" hahaha panat...nda ku sanggup coz i was rely exhausted...

So i returned home around 10 p.m...i had my late dinner...so i thought kan rehat 'kejap' and bangun during the midnight...kali masih lagi tires so i reset my alarm and changed it to 2 a.m...hmm still tired..."make it 4 a.m. la..." suddenly......6 a.m!!!!!! "gila ne...alum ku prepare apa2 for observation LATER"

So i got myself ready...left my home at 640 am and sent my bro and sis to their school..smpai d skulah dlm kul 7...bawa printer and lap top d staffroom..."sigh ane baru ya mission impossible!"

my supervisor would come around 1015 coz my class yg ia kn observe atu kul 1030...for 3 hours i did my lesson plan...i came out with an idea to to pair-work activity for my students...

10 am! she arrived! earlier than i thought...*gulp* luckily i had finished with my lesson plan...she asked for my cooperating teacher to come into my lesson as well...MORE PRESSURE

the lesson went well...the students well behave *suprisingly* and i was confident with my lesson for the whole 1 hour...after the lesson finished, my supervisor left and showed her feedbacks report about my Lesson...

ALHAMDULILLAH...my CT said its a "A" but yet to be confirm sal sapa2 dpr A ane slalu d-ragui kehalalan nya hhahahahah apakan...so..iwas rely HAPPY =)

MY 3 HOURS last minute work paid off with a satisfactory outcome...i hope after i have finished with my TP at SMB i would get posted soon...hehhehe AMIN!

In this month...for the first time my supervisor from UBD came to check my lesson..i was a bit nervous but at the same time i had already prepared myself for her presence...i tried my best to set up the 'best' learning environment with variety of teaching strategies...

The pressure was too much for me..my supervisor came on last Saturday (4th April)...a day after my 'worst' day of the year...on the actual day..BOTH my cooperating teacher and my supervisor came into my class! It was like a battle of two generals with 30 armies against ME...the students were so noisy..but somehow i managed to control with my sarcastic words while delivering my orders

At the end, my supervisor was satisfied...she said i had a good content mastery, pleasant and variety of voice tone, good questioning techniques...HOWEVER...my group activity instructions were not clear..thus she expected much better lesson in future

Since the first day of my TP, i had adopted a very firm appearance so that no one would bully me...yeah, its hard to believe if those who knew me in person- with my crazy-ness, i can be that strict

The Mid-Year exam in SMB will start on the 21st 'til 4th of May..so now my pressure inda jua berat sngat la...owh btw on the 16th of May will be my last day of TP! yeay!! I still in the middle to make plans for my holiday after TP...

For the first time jua aku ngajar tuition class at FC qlap...hahaha slalu nya kalau ngajar tuition d rumah atu chill brabis...bleh liat tv kjap and even makan ane wa...kalau d FC atu- sigh- 2 and half hours facing all the students ane wa....nasib jua ku ada tactic sendiri hehehe..Alhamdulillah, ada jua extra income sementara elaun UBD yg nda lama lagi ku 'last' dpt this semester heheheh...yatah masa nya kan shopping apa yg patut ne...and save jua la

Hopefully after my TP or lpas my graduation this year i will get a place in the employment under the MOE...i had alraedy made some plans..especially to help my family...and buy new stuffs! hehehe...$$$$

I also wish to travel abroad la during my vacation...tapi yg penting i must get myself a digi-cam first! eh eh...awal jua plan kan cuti ane eh....this coming week i will be observed twice before the exam period...i rely aim for at least 'B' for my TP...if dpt A lagi baik Amin!

Due to the high market demand =P now its time for me to share some stories of my life during my childhood experience hehe..ter-overlap masa teenager before ane so now i will reveal some of the 'crazy', 'happy' and 'sad' moments to u guys ;)

yeah...i'm soo sexy!

Cat...yes cat meow...is a very cute animal..but somehow, i had a problem wit cat when i was a kid..there was a time when i paid a visit to my aunt's place in KB, i saw this cat...so cuute...biasa la kanak2, nda jua ku tau tu ku kacau2 my 'ibu-jari kaki' on the cat's nose..skali...NGAP!!..waaaa :'( kena gigit~~ trus la i was rushed to the hospital...sejak atu tah i was rely scared on cat...tapi dah besar2 ane nda plg lagi takot hahahah...

yes...so 'cute' huh...

Zip...hahaha..yeah zip baju...but this one was about my sis-cousin's dress zipper yg d blakang atu...(hoped she wont know about this blog)...well during that time i was only 4..i always tempted to zip-off anything...especially my mom's travelling bag...so ada laa one day during family gathering at my granfparents' place d Seria...YEAH FAMILY GATHERING....i was so noty and tempted laa liat zip at the back of my cousin's dress ane...hmmmm ZIPPPPPP~ bowh! mati aku she cried like hell!! hahaha...for a cute kid like me (that time) biasa la...LARI..hhahaha ;P *JAHAT EYH*

FOOTBALL...yep the game where u run,chase and kick a single ball on the pitch haha...when i was having a trial for my primary school foorball team...i was sitting at the back of the goal post (yang nada net) haha iski sngat kn main...til a time a very DRIFT shot of the ball get through the post where i was sitting at the back of it- i tried to be a hero kan mnangkap wit my single-bare hand!..gues what?..i broken few bones on my right hand...teplanting on the ground...sigh...

VEGETABLES...hmmm yep i dont like to eat 'forest' since i was young..til now! haha..even TAUGE! no no no...but if mixed up a bit with fried noodles- accepted...there was a time masa damit la...my mom urged me to eat sayur..but i dont want..skali my mom kata, "if amin makan sayur jadi kuat tu mcm POPEYE!"...HAHA makan tah ku til after few days i still couldnt see any different on my body hmm...malas tah ku kn makan sayur haha :P

FRIDAY 24TH JANUARY 2009...

Yesterday I planned to have longer sleep since it was Friday...all the sudden *eh napa mcm panas ane...!??*....i thought my lil bro or my dad yg kacau...but when i forced my head up...owh dear..no KARAN!!? adoi....

So i rushed to the bathroom to check whether the water supply was also cut...*phewww* nasib jua ada..so i guessed it wasn't that bad...if panas2 i would take a shower...*manual air-cond* hahaha!...

so after cleaned up..had my 'dinner' hahaha :P (breakfast)...so kan get ready to the Masjid...after i've chose my Cara Melayu...with full confidence kan terikah baju tah ne...i switched on the iron...hmmm ehhh napa nda mau panas ane???....*TOINK!* haha lupa laa no electric!...hmmm tpaksa found some 'nice' baju utk ke Masjid...

Back from Jumaat prayer..i taught my students (tuition)...sian laa the kids..panasan..i let the windows opened so at least ada udara segeerrrr masuk hehe...around 4p.m. the class finished...i could see the relief from the kids' face when they were taken by their parents..masuk their car and trus ber-aircond haha panas...

I thought to myself that soon the power ada ne...so i took a nap...hmmm before maghrib: STILL NO ELECTRIC!!! waaaa :( ahhh mandi tah puas2 hahaha...then my 2nd bro just came back home after shopping...so i asked him "ada karan d gadong or any other places?"..."Nada bang..."

Sigh....

my lil sibs....Asrul (nigga), Ummi and fatoy smua ngusot..so i brought them out jalan2 round2 haha...since i knew that Gadong nada electric jua so i brought them round2 UBD! haha kes malas kn jalan jauh2 hehe :P yep ada KARAN! but my place RIMBA yg ada so close to UBD nada...then singgah GIANT (gergasi)....hmmm ramai pengunjung...the only 'shop' yang buka inside the building was 'Giant store' (duhhh)...KFC...JOLIBEE...closed! so kan bali ICE-BLOCKS...hmmm nasib jua ada 1 plastic...ok lah...ada jua supply utk cold drinks at home nanti...

In the evening...hmmm my handphone and lap-top lowww batt brabis...so i decided to go UBD for a while to recharge the power...AB was there to join me up...so while waiting for the batt regained its full power, AB and I exchanged video clips and some songs...

AB "nda ko lapar kah?.."

AMIN "lapar ehh pi kan singgah mana?...banyak kadai tutop ne..."

So..not to waste time kami went around my place...ada one stall NASI KATOK opened..with a candle haha...dark brabis makan that time...

SIGH...so i went to the bed quite early...with the bites of the mosquitoes..hmm so 'nice'...suddenly....*HEAVEN SONG* hahaha yeay!!! karan buka!! haha (4 a.m. on the next day)...nice~~ sleep well Amin hahaha

In the previous post i've shared most of the story on my personal family background..now i would like to share about my school-life esp when i was in SOASC...

Maybe most of my closest frens didnt know that before i enter SOASC, my name was listed in SM Saidina Hassan since i lived close to that place during that time (sinarubai)...but since i got a lot of my frens from the primary school (SR Raja Isteri Fatimah) were located in SOASC...so i managed to 'pujuk' my parent to go the same school with them...Plus, my younger siblings were still studying at my former primary school..so One go la kalau my dad kn fetch us up...pandai kan saya~~~ :P *padahal ada hidden attention hahaha kn sama kwn2 lama*

As i said dulu i always get top 3 during my primary school exams..haha but masa ara form 1A- its not the same...more challenges i finished 5th during the first end of year exam.. a bit dissapointed but i never got that far in position..hahaha i was so "katak bawah tempurung" this is real..this is bigger school world...so more challenges...Some of my form 1 frens dat i still could remember are: Teo, Zulhisham, Azhan, Amirul, Shahrizan, Zulfadhli. Azdi, Azizan, Kashful, Ammar, Hooi Siang, Eng Seng, Chao Leong, Taufiq, Halim, Rosfadhly, Nizar, Zaidi, Fadhlyshah, Gzul, Amirul Fadhli, Farisul, Hamdi, Abd Hadi....errr sorry if ada yg tertinggal...my memory makin tua sudah hahaha :P

Yes SOASC is a BOYS college...no girls (except the teachers, admins, makci2 kerani, auntie2 library, kaka2 kantin and makci2 pembersih) kesian kami...hahahaha...but hey i was not that desperate laa...somehow it enabled me to try something beyond myself if nada gurls around- jadi samseng hahaha kidding nada wa...iatah masa nya all the guys dapat main carah with out the the gurls hahaha!! :P *dpan gurls malu cha hehehe*

awal2 masuk atu takut jua la...badan2 kami semua comel2...looked innocent...lembut2 semua hahaha...satu skulah with seniors yg bsar2 badan woooo takut...pi dun mess with them laa...masa k kantin tah yg paling frustating dulu..sal had to compete with the big boys to get at least a packet of nasi bungkus or a can of drink....haha old days berabut....

i joined scout club...very very fun!! love it...since i was in form 1 til form 4..coz form 5 had to focus for O level exam....when i was in the scout i met new friends from other schools...yang paling siok masa camping! hahaha...first time around friends camping, cooking, buat activities etc...siok! Masa jadi scout yang paling utama jgn menipu, mesti jujur, patuh perintah ketua...i t helped me a lot with my self-discpline...but ada jua la some bitter experience...kena marah, denda..owh well experience..jadi kn pengajaran...owh yea- masa scout my bakat belakon d gilap hahah shined :P kan becali saja hahaha...

i also actived in sports back in SOASC..i joined annual sports day...mostly in 100m, 200m and 800m...in a toatal *mengira medals* almost 11 silver medals haha too bad inda pernah dpt gold medal la....even bronze pun nada...When it comes to boys = sports = football! hahaha..yep all the boys (most la) enjoyed the padang pasir pitch in SOAC (belum lagi berumput inda mcm skarang ane)....

hahaha masa form 4...c AZHAN sama aku slalu k bandar or qlap!! sal nada lagi skulah ugama....stat tah kn begauk...smpai pernah naik bot tambang sal akhir bnar dh kn balik ptg atu k SOASC...karak main game til now....inda hilang ah tabiat atu hahaha...sblum extra class singgah KFC beli Zinger burger- famous tu ah masa atu..hahaha...balik dari KFC bau ayam satu class hahahaha! kesian tais liur our other frens...

As i mentioned in the previous post..i had to pay school fees in SOASC...every month had to pay $20 (form 1-5)...after that $125 (masa Pre-U)...so wenever i knew some1 yg PR i feel kesian la sal they had to pay that kind of amount every month..imagine kalau adi-bradi nya banyak? kesian la...Alhamdulillah my family dah dpt citizenship awal

after O-level...i continued my A-level at SOASC again...I wanna to tell u something...actually my name was already in MD!! HAHA even my frens yg d MD masatu pu heran where were me?...the real story behind my 'stay' was...ada my teacher history ane Mrs Q...ia sbna nya abis contract dah..but somehow ia sambung for another 2 or 3 years in order kan ngajar me d SOASC...i feel guilty if i didnt stay...gosh kan mati rasa nya had to stay d SOASC...yatah masa nya kan meras lagi berskulah sama2 kwn bini2 hahaha...owh well...so i decided to stay...not bcoz i love the 'gay' skul atu ahhhh! hahahahah......

kesian ehh...skulah bsai2 d ucap skulah gay....hahaha...well masa form 6 i took business, history and sociology...masa d locker room i felt mcm dlm party..kan evryday mesti ada lagu "happy birthday for someone" haha..layansaja tia...hahaha owh yea...time atu first time ku simpan rambut panjang...well my hair kan curly so rebonding hahaha...esuk nya 1st time ke skulah wit rebonded hair smu aurg mcm nda kenal who was me??? new student kah??? "aku bah minor! :)" haha...well it was supposed my rebobded hair should stay for at least a year...somehow it only remained straight for les than 3 months...hmmm malas th ku kn rmbut pnjang lagi....hahaha...

A-level palinggggg strezzz blajar...esp History...kn hari2 my teacher 'tortured' us...but it bear something good for us..tapi yg paling ku risau bukan plg apa...my English- sal i havent gt credit yet...masa June of the 2nd year form 6 baru th dpt...Alhamdulillah...lepas exam..so ada cuti 8 bulan..hahahaha yatah cuti yg palingggggg pnjang pernah ku dpt...so while waiting i did part work job...hahahaha mau tau d mana? KANTIN SR RIMBA dekat ku tinggal ah..hahahha...siok la dpt liat n layan kanak2 tym durg mbali ahhh..atu berabut! baru th ku faham perasaan makci2 n pakci2 kantin masa ku kanak2 dulu....OWH yea....masa atu the kids col me'PAKCI' aishhhhh kesian...tua sngat ku d mata durang :'( hahaha inda ku tahan ehh 4 bulan sja kraja sna...so i did my home tution sja...which the income much much better! hahaha saja cari penglaman...

A-level result kuar somewer at the end of January 2005...Alhamdulillah i got B (HISTORY) B (BUSINESS ST) C (SOCIO)....my frens tnya why didnt apply scholarship?...so i answered
"aku masih PR kali ahh..." *tahan sedih*....in July 2005 baru th i gt my citizenship...and in AUGUST 2008- i was officially recriuted as the undergraduate of UBD....I'M PROUD!! UBD RULESSSS....

I was born on 13th November 1985 at Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, KB. I'm the eldest son of Wahap Abdullah and Sa'diah Mohammed. Haha funny when every time my mom shared to me a story of how she would like to have a daughter for her first child- she even had prepared a name 'Siti Jamilah" *gosh nasib jua nda menjadi hahaha...if not, i will be famous..Like a song from a band- Jamilah Jamidong?!*

Well i was raised most of my childhood time at Seria, KB...so it isn't stange that i could understand some of the dialect..but i dont talk fluenlty tho...I ever tried to talk 'Belait' slang but..errr better not hahaha...sooo kalau kn jln2 KB i'm 89% sure nda akan sesat *apakan*

I was raised in a very average life-style...My dad was adopted when he was very young by a family in KB..his real parent was from Sabah, Malaysia...so sad that i never had the chance to meet my grandparent of my dad's side- both had passed away before i was born...My dad is 'tunggal' but have many relatives in KB as well as some parts in BM...My dad is very talented in drawing..thus he pursue his career in technical drawing in the government sector...

My mom..Love u..hehe..She's the third of 10 siblings...masa muda2 dulu slalu laa anak2 teruna mengurat my mom and the sisters d Seria hahahah...smpai my former teacher pun kenal and tau about that story...*bangga* hahah :P She's a houswefie..my Angel..tempat ngusot n manja ahaha..My mom's dad was descended of Arabs and Malays...while nini bini- Chinese and Malays..

Tho life was hard when i was young but Alhamdulillah it teaches me a lot of things...evrytime when i think back how hard both my dad and mom tried to raise me as well as my other siblings..i cud cry..imagine with the income of less than $1000 back then...owh yea i forgot to tell something- i was a PR; i gt my citizenship just before the UBD orientation...I just cant understand why my dad was not given Citizenship when he was young tho he was adopted...for almost 50 years baru th my dad dpt citizenship??? how about some foreigners yg tinggal in Brunei less than 20 years bleh dpt??...

Being a PR was VERY TOUGH...i had to pay school fee since i entered form 1 til i finished Form 6 at SOASC...Evry geneal exam- PMB, O-LEVEL AND A-LEVEL my parent had to pay...so kesian la them, blum lagi i mentioned of my other siblings jua with their payment...but i learn something imporatant; hargai pengorbanan your parents yg mau kamu jadi pndai..dont waste it and dont let them down...

So back at primary school I always finished top 3 of my class..i wanted to make my parent proud..walaupun hidup susah tapi jgn lalai kn ilmu...but i was stupid jua masa PCE dulu..i said to myself not to get 5A..why? if i get pun i wont be able to enter MS since i'm only a PR?!...So i puprposely didnt do well in my English paper 1 hahaha apa la yg ku pilih karangan sal 'my neighbour' tapi pendek sja my composition...so 4A 1B...B - (English)...yatah my cigu marah, sayang la peluang wa tu walaupun nda dpt MS but why not get 5A to make my parent happy?...silly me hahaha...

Owh yea nw i want to tell u bout my siblingsss...there are 6- i'm no1...the other 5 ( 4 boys and a gurl) 2- sallehen (aleh), 3- faitullah (memet), 4- asrul (acoi), 5- ummmmiiiii and 6- fahatul (fatoy)..my adek2 col me 'bang' or abg amin~~ hehehe...LOVE them all....

Life changed ALhamdulillah after we al got the citizenship (except my mom la sal ia andang Brunei hehe)...we moved to Rimba in 1998...owh yea...before Rimba, my family lived in Tasek Lama flat..pas atu pindah ke Sinarubai (Bengkurong)...and baru th Rimba...paling ngaleh and excited plang masa berpindah atu hehehe...

I went to the UBD sport complex around 4 pm...did 3 rounds of jogging

then entered the gym..just checking..there was chan playing badminton...there were also some of my friends...

the fun was when the boys mixed up with the girls in a futsal match..haha but the rule was funny...the male of the team was not allowed to score..so everytime when i got the chance to score...i had to find any girl of my team to score for me...

then in the evening i played for my fried's team FOS...the pitch was horrible..well it was raining...my team lost 2-1...i played as the sweeper (centre back)...

back from the match i met up my buddies at gadong...

UBD students spruce up Kg Ayer

As part of the UBD NOD initiative, the students gathered in the early hours of Sunday morning to start their cleaning campaign around the Datok Ghandi area before being ferried off to Kampong Pudak and Kampong Serdang. Kampong Datuk Ghandi was used as their collection base where trash trucks would transport collected rubbish to the Sungai Akar dumping ground and other recommended dumping areas. According to organisational leader Mohd Nurudin Hadzman, who led the group, the project aims to demonstrate that there are people who are willing to do something to improve the environment, and at the same time, change people's attitude towards littering. "The NOD initiative is trying to clean up the environment and bring about an end to half -hearted cleaning and awareness campaign," he added. Mohd Nurudin wants to prove to cynics that it is actually possible to improve the natural environment of Kampong Ayer through instilling long-term environmental awareness and to make the local landmark as free from pollution as possible. He said, however, that the 12-man volunteer group has limited resources and has insufficient equipment to handle the task. At the moment the project receives partial funding from UBD through recently obtained funds from Baiduri Bank. The NOD initiative could do with greater financial support and be provided with links to recycling centres, garbage truck contractors and the media. It is supported by private individuals and is in the process of garnering support from the relevant government authorities. The NOD initiative's objectives have also recently expanded to building relations with the village heads of Kampong Ayer on the back of their partial success in the first campaign. During their campaign, they managed to meet with the village heads of Kampong Pudak and Kampong Serdang. The village head of Kampong Pudak participated in the early morning cleaning, while the village head of Kampong Serdang pledged his support for the initiative and future ones as well.

UBD Students Clean Up To Instill ‘Green’ Awareness

Bandar Seri Begawan - In doing their part for the community, a total of 23 individuals, comprising of members of the group Nod Initiative in collaboration with village heads from Kg Pudak and Kg Serdang, held a cleaning campaign yesterday.

The Nod Initiative is a group of volunteers made up of five Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) undergraduates and seven other members.

The purpose of the group is to change typical Bruneian attitudes towards the environment.

The group hopes to expand to other activities but is currently working on the water village project.

Some of the goals of the project include making the water and land areas of the village pollution-free and instilling environmental awareness among the Kampong Ayer community.

The cleaning campaign that took place yesterday

also served as an opportunity for the two village leaders of Kg Pudak and Serdang and the leader of the Nod Initiative to discuss ideas and other problems related to the environment in Kampong Ayer.

The first cooperative village head was Hj Sulaiman Hj Abdul Hamit of Kg Pudak where, with his help, contact was made with the neighbouring village of Kg Serdang, whose village head is Mohamad Bakar.

Similarly, through Mohamad, contact will be made with another neighbouring village.

Using this chain of contacts, the organisation hopes to enlist the cooperation of some 100 villages in the future.

Hj Sulaiman, who also participated in the cleaning campaign yesterday, said that the efforts made by the organisation of volunteers will help to prevent the spread of disease and affirmed that he will continue to cooperate with them in the future to further improve the environmental situation in his village.

Mohd Nurudin Hadzman Hj Abd Radzak, leader of the Nod Initiative, said: "There is a common misconception among some people that even if the rubbish is taken out, it will come back, so that there is not much point to clean it up in the first place.

"If nothing is done, there won't be any improvement. This is why it is important that all of the villages cooperate. We cannot just sit around and wait for somebody to do something," added Hadz man.

The group has received some financial help from UBD and will soon get support from Baiduri Bank but so far, most of the funding for the project has come out of the group's own pockets.

Money is important for the cleaning campaign as it is needed to hire a boat, buy safety gear and also equipment such as shovels, said Hadzman. -- Courtesy of The Brunei Times

yeah raya...luckily raya dis year nda bz as last year- in term of preparation last2 minute hehe...so pagi2 awal bgn smbhyg raya d masjid ubd...

around 10 am my fmily departed to my grandma's house d lumut...phew bukan nda pnas tym atu driving...hehe...smpai kmi d rmah nini kul 11 la...

ada dh usu, uncle, ngah and wa d rmah nini...aku nda plg expectd any green packet tym atu...ndang nda kna bagi jua la :'( sal tua dah haha....

so sessi yg pling utama...sessi family photo...ngaleh eh mcm2 pose...pas a2 k kb ziarahi kubur arwah grandpa and datok...syahdu rasa nya....

and then my fmily and i resumed r raya to my dad's side..ada nasi beriyani!! my favourite huhu...lpas atu braya drmah kwn lama bapa...rmah aunt d mumong and pandan...

dlm kul 8 kmi blik k bandar...on dat journey back bome aku twice rest jap bside d road sal sooo tired...Alhamdulillah smpai rmah dlm kul 10...tidur~~~ zzzz

eh bru ku ingat...aku dpt $8 ang pow tym first day raya hahaha

A group of youths committed to improving the environment has set out on a mission to clear out the rubbish and waste littering many parts of Kampong Ayer. The five-member team, two of whom are Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) undergraduates, want to prove to the nation that Bruneians are actually willing to do something about the environment, hoping that the example they set will bring about 'positive results' in their quest for environmental awareness. Calling themselves 'The Nod Initiative,' the group aims to prove to critics and pessimists that it is actually possible to improve the natural surrounding of Kampong Ayer, while also bringing about positive changes in the attitudes of the village's populace with regards to littering. With a calculated budget of only B$250, the group is seeking help and support from UBD and other bodies that can assist in providing them with the much-needed financial support and equipment necessary for the task. Kampong Ayer isn't the only area that the group has listed under its campaign. Although the focal point will be on Brunei's leading tourist attraction, the Nod Initiative has decided to include parts of the Datuk Ghandi area, beyond Kampong Saba, and possibly parts of Sungai Kedayan. The area will be divided into 12 sectors, upon which the group will select a particular sector for cleaning and maintenance, dedicating four to five hours every month towards the initiative. According to the group, previous half-hearted initiatives by other agencies aimed at cleaning up Kampong Ayer have failed, which is evident by the large amount of rubbish that still litters the area. "They did some cleaning but after three days they stopped coming," said a tour guide, who makes regular trips around the area on his boat. Team member Mohd Nurudin Hadzman Hj Abd Radzak feels that a combination of strategies must be employed in order for the campaign to successfully meet its target, because "simply looking or complaining about the problem will not make it go away unless action and active commitments are made". "Although it might be dirty work, it's the right thing to do. People might look down on us, but we shall not be ashamed. Well ac2ly at first my parents kn sruh bebaya ke lumut utk sungkai...ermm tym atu it was only 1 p.m....sunny...hot day...so i told them i will go by myself 'later but soon' hahaha...around 4p.m baru th ku depart from my place...2nggu d ryt moment a.k.a. tym cuaca 'lembu' (awu wa limbu...aku salah ckap masatu) hehehe...

the best thing tym sngkai tadi is that dpt jmpa nini and also my new cuzn..babyfasha hehe...al maklum lah d bandar ane lau sngkai saja trus NGAP mkan (baca niat dulu)...lupa wa aku tadi rpanya dlm kwasan KB so add on 3 minutes...haha tapi air bandung almost half done dah hehe...nda sngaja hehe...

Well for the first few days...i felt awkward wit the environment...hehe rasa too young to b a teacher....

Wit some help from the teachers t SMR...I managed la d adapt the environment....

baru tah ku tau napa cigu2 chill d kantin minum kupi hehe,,,sajuk wa staffroom ah....
